Sport and nature in the Oria river

We are launching a proposal that will delight lovers of active tourism; the descent of the Oria in Kayak or SUP.

The Oria River in its time served to transport people and goods. Large ships were built on its banks, it is a river that has marked our history.

The descent in kayak or SUP of the Oria River is an opportunity to get to know our surroundings and do a recreational-sports activity.

The active leisure company Begi-bistan makes it very easy for us. And it proposes a route of approximately 3 hours, in which the tides are usually used.

We meet at Arraunetxe, Orio. After changing, we go to Aginaga. There, before going into the water, they will give us basic notions and advice to enjoy the activity, and we begin the descent.

Practically nothing is needed: swimsuit, shower material, spare clothes, slippers / flip-flops with good support, sun cream … The rest is put by them, that is, the desire to row must be put by each one.

But being a river it is very calm, there is no danger and anyone can do the activity.
It is mandatory to know how to swim, not be pregnant and have no injuries.
