Usurbil
Usurbil starts and grows around the Oria river basin on both sides of the capricious meanders which zigzag to the sea.
Kalezar district was the town centre in the past. Today, the centre is Kaleberri where we can find the church of San Salvador and the Dema Plaza, where festive events and the most important fairs of the year take place.
Beyond the town centre we come across the rural districts of Aginaga, Urdaiaga, and Zubieta (where we find Aizpurua Cottage, the square and Rebote fronton)
We also recommend the paths to the Mendizorrotz (from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Usurbil, Orio, Donostia, Bizkaia and Lapurdi coastlines) and Andatza (a mountain known for its megalithic remains) mountains.

Historical buildings
Usurbil has many historical buildings that will catch our attention. The Old Town houses the Atxega Palace, a Baroque-style construction that was built in the 18th century and was declared a historical artistic monument. We will also find fascinating the Saroe House, which facade stands out for its rich decoration. San Salvador’s Church is situated opposite to it. The temple has a Baroque tower and an altarpiece of the 17th century.
