The Zubieta Racecourse is located in the municipality of San Sebastián, where the International Cross of San Sebastián is held. It is closely related to Zubieta, since in many of its hamlets there are many activities around caring for horses. But it has also been closely linked to Lasarte-Oria, and it is just a few meters from its urban center, on the other bank of the Oria River.
The Donostia-San Sebastián Hippodrome was inaugurated in 1916, its biggest event being on August 15 with the “San Sebastián Gold Cup”
