The first of the stages of the GR-34 goes through Usurbil and Zubieta. The second part of this stage shares the route of the Camino de Santiago
We start from Plaza Gipuzkoa and leave the city via Igara Industrial Estate. We climb towards Aritzeta and cross the AP-8. A steep descent takes us to Txikierdi followed by Zubieta. We’ll continue along a beautiful range from the slopes of Andatza passing by the door of the historical Benta Zarate and finishing this first stage at Saskarate House.
