Chillida Leku is a must-see for anyone minimally interested in art. Not surprisingly, Chillida is, for almost everyone, the greatest Basque artist of all time.

Chillida Leku is in Hernani and it is a space designed by the artist himself in which art and nature merge. A large garden, with no defined itinerary, where you can enjoy, among wooded areas and more open areas, more than 40 works by our great artist. The works, like most of Chillida’s sculptures, are made in human size. The interaction between the visitor and the pieces, made of different materials, becomes, in most cases, a vital experience.

The Zabalaga farmhouse stands out, an old building, where the noble coat of arms can still be seen and which was restored by Chillida himself with the obsession to maintain the original architectural spirit of the Basque farmhouse.
